I made these Nail Gun Towers from gas cylinders and a couple of car tires to dampen vibration. It shoots high velocity nails that rip through a zombie’s dead body like a knife through butter. Zombies are not easy to kill (well, to get them to stay killed, at least) so it takes a lot of nails to bring one down.Luckily, this tower is easy to build and it is a reliable work horse.

You will be surprised what what you can do with an old vacuum cleaner, a blowtorch and a bowling ball filled with resin. My Catapult Tower is very effective when I need to do zombie crowd control. A half melted bowling ball will explode on impact and take out any zombies too close for comfort.

This tower is a nasty piece of work. Two containers, one filled with gasoline and the other with some sticky stuff from the lab connected to a pressurized gas cylinder throws an impressive flame that forms a burning blob wherever it hits. Most of the zombies are too stupid to realize that they’ll get toasted if they try to walk through it.

For this tower I raided the hardware store and chucked anything that looked sticky and gloopy into a big wheelbarrow. A pressurized gas cylinder blows the stuff through a nozzle. Any zombies hit by this stuff will be slowed down to a crawl, giving the other towers enough time to pound the living daylights out of them.

There is no time for mowing the lawn when you have to fend off a zombie attack. A lawnmower with a few clever modifications can become a lethal electroshock weapon. You need to fry the zombie’s brain before he has yours for dinner. This is definitely by far the most potent weapon I’ve built.

The tower will increase the power of any of the other towers within range. I am not sure exactly how it works. I just got some purple plasma stuff from the lab, poured it into a water cooler because the plasma is unstable at room temperature, added some sardine cans to project the plasma’s energy and the rest is history.  I also get friends to mod the towers through Twitter.  Not sure how that works, but it does.
